That Clubs work as a group so that they may better serve the local community. Lions not only offers the opportunity to serve, it encourages the personal development of its members and provides a forum for social contact.
Membership of Lions is by invitation and is open to both men and women 18 years and over – everyone has something to offer. Each club is autonomous, provided it conducts its operations within the rules of the Association. Funds raised by Clubs are used exclusively to support projects voted upon by the members of that Club.
Lions has a world-wide membership in excess of 1.4 million – we extend the hand of friendship to you, come and join us and help make your community a better place in which to live and work.
